As Brackley Town Saints’ Hellenic League Premier Division season approaches its halfway point we take a moment to listen to the thoughts of manager Gordon Kille on the season so far, what’s next for his young side and just how he is coping with the demands of the job.

Brackley Saints FC’s new management team have been encouraged by the performance of their players albeit disappointed by the early results.  The Saints season started with an opening home fixture against Royal Wooton Basset FC.

After 30 minutes Saints were totally in control, 2-0 up and seemingly cruising to a handsome season opening day victory, thanks to goals from Bowden and Murphy but, 15 minutes later it was 2-2 and Saints were holding on desperate to hear the half time whistle.

Brackley Town Saints will be returning for pre- season training this weekend.
