Danny joins Kevin Wilkin’s side bringing huge experience to the goal-keeping jersey.  Danny enjoyed two spells at Kidderminster Harriers making 185 appearances including a league debut against Northampton Town.  He has also had spells at home-town team Redditch United and Moor Green and most recently played two seasons at Solihull Moors making 49 first team appearances in all.

Dan was with Brackley Town Saints last season in the Hellenic league.  He also featured three times in the league for Kevin Wilkin’s side and played for Corby Town.

Gareth Dean - Captain

Central Defender and club captain Gareth (”Gaz”) Dean was signed from Solihull Moors in the close season ahead of 2016-17 and was ever present at St James Park in his first season here making 56 appearances and scoring on four occasions.

At Solihull he was a member of the successful title winning side of 2015-16. He signed for Solihull from Nuneaton, the club where he had spent his previous career, making his début for the club as an 18 year old in 2008. He made 334 appearances, earning three promotions in his first four seasons at Liberty Way, as the club climbed swiftly to the Conference Premier. A former Player of the Year, Gareth was captain of Nuneaton and played under Kevin Wilkin in his time as manager.

He was included in the England “C” squad to play against Latvia Under-23s in September 2013. “Gaz” was named in the Conference North team of the year for 2015/16 and 2016/17.

 

Alex Gudger

Alex signed from Worcester City ahead of the 2016-17 season.  At City he played 46 games winning the Sponsors’ Player of the Year award.

Alex progressed through the youth ranks at Nuneaton Town and featured fleetingly in their first team as they won promotion to the Blue Square Premier.  Alex signed for Rugby Town as a 19-year-old and rapidly made an impact playing 111 games as a centre half having originally played as a full back in his youth career.

Alex brings pace and ability on the ball to the back line.  At Rugby he collected three Player of the Season awards in his first season with the club and was made the Club Captain for the 2013/14 season. He signed for Worcester in the summer 2015 before joining up with his former manager Kevin Wilkin at Brackley and was ever present in his first season at St James Park making 55 appearances and scoring seven times.

Ben Tilney

After a month's loan spell in the 2015-16 season Ben has signed again on loan for the 2017-18 season.  Ben made 11 first team appearances for MK Dons last season and has a big future ahead in the game.

Ellis Myles

Right-back Ellis Myles, who featured at SJP in the 2011-12 season, signed again for the Saints after spending the 2015-16 season at from Corby Town.

Ellis started his career as a trainee at Leicester City, before spells at Brackley Town and Rugby Town.  He later joined Stamford, where he was a consistent performer in the Daniels’ side before moving to Steel Park. Before the start of this season Ellis had already played 80 times for Saints scoring twice.

Connor Franklin

Connor is another player signed from Solihull Moors ahead of the 2017-18 season. Connor is a talented player providing options for Kevin Wilkin.  He had spells at Hinckley United and Alfreton Town before two seasons at Solihull Moors.  Connor is renowned for his long throw. 

Luke Graham

Luke joined Brackley in the 2015-16 close season from Alfreton Town where he was captain.  Previous clubs include Hereford United and Luton Town.  Luke has amassed 86 appearances and five goals in his time at St James Park.  Aside from his Brackley Town commitments he currently works at Kettering Town in the Southern League club’s academy

Jordan Williams

Jordan was brought in by Kevin Wilkin in the 2016/17 close season from Cambridge United.  He had been on loan last season at Cambridge City where he played 43 times and won their Player of the Season award.

James Armson

James was another player who gained promotion with Solihull Moors in 2015-16 before joining Brackley. James had progressed through Nuneaton Town’s youth set-up and gained an England “C” cap in 2013 against Latvia. Originally a Coventry City Academy player. In his five year stint with Nuneaton James amassed over 100 games scoring 17 times. He brought valuable experience to Kevin Wilkin’s Saints squad and scored an incredible 25 goals from midfield including a famous hat-trick in the FA Cup defeat of League One Gillingham.

He is the personification of versatility having played for Nuneaton in every position on the pitch, including goalkeeper. However James favours an attacking midfield role.  He is a former ‘Boro Player of the Year and immediately became a fans’ favourite at SJP.

Adam Walker

Adam was another to make the move from Solihull Moors joining Kevin Wilkin’s side in pre-season 2016.

Prior to joining Moors Adam had been an ever-present at the heart of the Nuneaton Town side since his début during the 2010/11 season.
He was released by Coventry City in 2010 having played for City in the Championship making his debut against Sheffield Wednesday and was then picked up by Nuneaton. He turned down a move in 2012 to Luton Town.


Adam made over 200 appearances for Nuneaton, scoring 23 goals in the process and helping the club gain promotion to the Conference Premier in 2012.  Adam studied Sports and Exercise Science at Coventry University.  In his first season at SJP Adam made 56 appearances and spent more game minutes on the pitch than any other player.

Matt Lowe

Kevin Wilkin moved quickly to secure Matt as one of his first signings having come in as manager in September 2015.  Matt played a big part whilst on loan in our succesful fight against the drop in 2015/16 and has already appeared 69 times in a Brackley shirt scoring eight times.

The midfielder, who came through Cambridge United’s youth ranks, spent the latter part of 2014/15 season on loan with Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division neighbours Cambridge City and had earlier spent a month with City`s neighbours Histon.  Prior to joining Saints on loan, Matty also spent time with National League South side Wealdstone.

Glenn Walker

Glenn re-joined Saints for the 2015-16 season after one season at Hednesford. Glenn is another club legend who, like Steve Diggin, made it into the club’s “All time XI” when it was announced in 2016.  Perhaps most famously remembered for his FA Cup goal against Gillingham in 2013, he has made 211 appearances and scored 32 goals for Saints.

Jack is one of four players signed from Solihull Moors in the 2017 close season. Vice-captain at Moors, he was Players’ Player of the Season.  Jack joined Moors after five seasons at Kidderminster Harriers (164 appearances and 28 goals) and previously he had a spell at Redditch having started out at Solihull Borough.  At 28 Jack is highly regarded, technically gifted and hard working, and his addition to Kevin Wilkin’s squad marked a key moment in pre-season preparations. 

Shane Byrne

Shane Byrne signed for the 2016-17 season from Nuneaton Town where he enjoyed a successful spell.

Shane started his career in Dublin and was part of the youth team that reached the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup in the 2010–11 season. On the international transfer deadline day in 2011 Shane withdrew from the Republic of Ireland U19 squad in order to move on loan to Bury FC and made his professional début for Bury against Sheffield United on 3 September 2011. In October of that year he had his loan extended and made his FA Cup debut on November 12 in a 2–0 defeat to Crawley Town. On December 28 he again extended his loan at Bury until the end of January but his time at Bury was curtailed after picking up an ankle injury in a game at Colchester United.  Bury confirmed in August 2013 that he had been released from his contract by mutual consent and a few weeks later it was announced that he had returned to Ireland to join Bray Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

Shane joined Corby Town in August 2014 from Bray Wanderers and was a member of the Southern Premier League Championship winning side.  In his first season at SJP Shane made an outstanding contribution to Kevin Wilkin’s side as they finished 7th in National League North, reaching the 2nd round of the FA Cup and the quarter finals of the FA Trophy. He made 52 appearances and scored four goals, his first a memorable finish against Darlington.

Shane has represented the Republic of Ireland both at U17 and U19.

Greg Kaziboni

Greg returns to Brackley after a lengthy period side-lined with injury. He has previously played over 40 games for the club scoring six times, his attacking wing play making him a firm favourite with supporters.  Greg started his career at Northampton Town where he made five first team appearances before spending time at Corby Town.

Lee Ndlovu

Lee is a striker formerly with Ilkeston and Grantham Town.  Lee joined Brackley in February 2016 and had made 66 appearances scoring 15 goals by the start of this season.

Steve Diggin

Steve started out on Aston Villa’s books and has spent time at Corby Town where he scored a hat-trick on his debut!  He returned to SJP for the 2016-17 season after a spell at Hednesford where he was top scorer in 2015/16.  He had been top scorer in each of his previous three seasons at Brackley.  A real fans’ favourite, it was no surprise that 29 year old striker Steve was included in the recent Saints’ “All time XI”.  Steve had 217 appearances and 87 goals to his name before the start of this season.

Andy Brown

Andy signed from Solihull Moors in pre-season.  He is a proven goal-scorer and has shown at previous clubs he has a real winning mentality, earning promotion three times.  Andy started at Telford United before having spells at Nuneaton and then latterly Solihull Moors, where he made 26 appearances last season.

Aaron Williams

Aaron signed in August on a long loan from Newport County.  He started his career at Walsall making 6 appearances. He then moved to Worcester City before joining Rushall Olympic where he scored 28 goals in 39 appearances.  Nuneaton was his next stop where he had an impressive scoring rate of a goal every two games bringing him to the attention of Peterborough where he moved in 2015 scoring twice in 10 games.  He moved on to Newport in January 2016 from where he went out on loan to Nuneaton scoring 7 goals in 21 starts.  In all he has scored 3 times for Newport in 17 games. He has one England C cap gained against the Republic of Ireland in May 2015.
