After Saturday’s 500 mile round trip to Blyth, Saints take on North Ferriby United on Tuesday evening (ko: 7.45pm) at St James Park in a re-arranged league fixture as Kevin Wilkin’s side strives to close the gap at the top where just two points separate faltering Salford City and resurgent second placed Harrogate Town.

When Brackley met Ferriby at the start of the season four goals from Jimmy Armson saw Saints to a 5-0 win.

Circumstances around the club at North Ferriby have been written about at length and it has not been an easy time for the side pinned to the bottom of the table with just one win to date. Scoring goals has been the chief problem with just 7 scored at home in 15 outings and 7 away in 14 games on the road so far.

But Chris Bolder’s side have recorded two draws in their last three games including holding Chorley 2-2 at Victory Park at the end of January and will pose a serious challenge for a Brackley team that will want to put Saturday’s defeat behind them.
