Banbury United v Brackley Town Development U7’s (10/11/2018)

Brackley started the game quickly winning a series of early corners which had Banbury pinned back in their goalmouth.  Early pressure led to an early goal from Ellis scoring a tap-in, then came a lovely solo goal by Finn quickly followed by a goal from Ryley and by half time Brackley were in the lead. The second half wasn’t so one-sided but Brackley did score again and won the match overall.   Coach Chris said “the boys all worked so well together and complemented each others play very nicely. Their awareness of their positioning is great to see.  The whole squad: Ellis, Ryley, James, Nathan, Thomas and our two new players Harrison and William C along with Finn who especially created a lot of chances for others with his unselfish play, have a great attitude to the game.   Banbury United went on to win the friendly match that followed.”
