Brackley Town Juniors U10 v Bicester Town Pumas U10 - 10/11/18

An entertaining and keenly-contested home game against Bicester Town with the visitors eventually emerging 3-1 winners.

Brackley started a little slower than usual (despite Josh really impressing in midfield) and half-time found Bicester one goal to the good.

A much better second half for Brackley who seemed to find an extra gear but were frequently thwarted by Bicester's talented keeper, despite being a constant threat in the attacking third with some clever combinations between Finn, Arlo and Reuben.

Bicester struck again to make it 2-0 before Kian quickly responded for the home side, but as Brackley searched for an equaliser, Bicester snatched a late goal on the break for a deserved victory.

Both goalkeepers excelled for their teams, Harry D really impressing for Brackley, whilst Isabella also gained lots of praise for her determined tackling.

Brackley's close-knit group are really enjoying their games at the moment and their rapidly improving passing game is starting to attract the eye. Sometimes little errors creep in but it's so important that they all keep experimenting and trying to be creative.

Congratulations to Bicester: a very well-run team and it's always a pleasure to play them.
