In recent weeks the U15’s have put in some very good performances, working more as a team; however the results have not reflected that.  After an early goal Brackley played with excellent maturity, moving the ball very well and reacting fast  during the transition to win the ball back quickly. The midfield controlled the game creating passing angles and being brave on the ball, successfully playing the killer pass for the strikers to run onto. After over coming a slight wobble midway through the first half Brackley worked well to

maintain possession and calm the game down. I’m the second half the young Saints played positive football with a resilience defensively and a freedom when going forward. All of the team put in a very good performance both in and out of possession, this resulted in an unusually quiet day for the goalkeeper. A member of the 14’s stepped up and acquitted himself exceptionally. Overall it was a display that all in the team should be very proud of.
